Safe

Public bathrooms

Don’t let children go into public toilets on their own. Many shopping centres and venues provide change rooms, parents’ rooms or allow the use of disabled bathrooms for parents with small children. Teach your children to check whether the bathrooms are clean and safe to use and to always flush, check and wash hands afterwards.

Acknowledgement of Country

In the spirit of reconciliation Children's Guide acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and the continuing connection to lands, waters and communities.
